MUSIC THERAPY
Practice
Telehealth expands access to music therapy, creates a joint attention task of attending-to-screen together, allows for group interaction, affords opportunities for asynchronous therapy options, and reduces hindrances of time, commute, and mobility.
Advocacy
With consent, telehealth creates unique opportunities for sharing content, as well as easy-to-share permitted access to community stakeholders (e.g. a legislator or facility administrator observing a session).
The Telehealth Cranny was compiled by Gabby Banzon, Bonnie Houpt, James Maxson, Dean Quick, and Kate Shannon.
